Rare 1920's Kibbe's Candies Advertising Key-Ring

$235.00

Weighs only about ½ and ounce, Measures approx: 1 × 3 inches. Made from metal. Patent date of: 1-27-23 (or, 28…I believe it is a 3 though). The inside states, “Kibbe’s Candies , New England’s Oldest Candy House”. Outer portion reads, “Kibbe’s Candies, You’re Sure They’re Pure”. Kibbe’s items are typically hard to come by, and established their company in Springfield, MA. I’ve only owned a few different Kibbe’s items over the years. I believe this to be a metal key-ring, very easy to open, simply apply a bit of pressure on the inside of the orange plate, pushing firmly out with your thumb. Closing, simply press the open-end of the grey metal ring together slightly, while firmly pressing the orange plate from the outer side toward the grey ring, it slides easily up and slightly over the grey ring, staying in place, and holding your keys etc…secure.
