Vintage 1940's Santa-Clause Doll
Weighs Approx: 1.9 lbs. Measures Approx: 20 “ tall. , and about 7 “ at his widest part (near his thighs). he’s also about 4 “ in depth / (when lying on his back, measuring straight up). No tags or markings, obviously used, played with, etc….I was guesstimating from his look / design, that he was made in the 1940’s . His face, boots, hands appear to be made from a plastic or rubber material, while the rest of this body looks / feels like a cotton-stuffed fabric (cotton?). Ball on top of his hat is no longer. wicked cool & creepy “gnome / fairy” type of a look to his face, which was popular during that time period. I love placing him near/around the Xmas tree, he really gives people a pause for concern whenever they unsuspectingly come across him hiding from behind the tree, or placing him near the front window, where deliveries are made, etc…
